Ashley Everett
Director
I am excited to be serving in my sixth year as Director at Bethlehem Angels Preschool. Before stepping into this role, I taught the 4’s and Pre-K classes for 10 years. I have always wanted to be a teacher. I decided to attend Elon College and earned my K-6 Teaching degree. After I graduated, I taught 3rd and 4th grades in NC public schools for 7 years. During that time I went back to school and earned a Master’s Degree in School Administration and trained to become a K-12 administrator. But I am thankful that Bethlehem Angels Preschool came into my life– I started teaching here in 2006 and haven’t looked back!
I am married to my wonderful husband, Jody, and we have two wonderful daughters—Savannah, who is a graduate of NC State University and now working on becoming a paramedic, and Meredith, who is a junior at NC State studying animal science. We also have a sweet dog named Finnley. In our free time we like to go hiking, rappelling, and bike riding.

Teacher, 1s/2s
This is my 2nd year at Preschool, and I love planning fun, energetic learning activities for my little ones. I am very passionate about teaching young minds in a hands-on atmosphere. I feel very blessed that God has placed me in such a loving, nurturing, family-oriented environment!
I am married to my husband Nicholas, and before I was a preschool teacher, I was a stay-at-home mom to my three year old daughter Maddilynn who also attends Bethlehem Angels. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family and friends.

Teacher Assistant, 1s/2s
I am so excited to be starting my 2nd year at Bethlehem Angels Preschool and even more excited to meet new little angels. So a little about me….I am a master’s prepared nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Brenner Children’s Hospital. I have been there a little over 14 years. I work only weekends there and my job is very tough and emotional. In saying that, I love to play with happy, healthy kids so, I started teaching preschool and have taught since 2012. I love children, and I love preschool. I am so blessed to have this remarkable opportunity with you. I have an almost 19 year old daughter, Jaidyn, at High Point University. My son, Jayce, is almost 10, and he is a 4th grader at Mocksville Elementary. My daughter, Jordyn, is 2 and she attends preschool here. We love Bethlehem Angels Preschool!!!!

This is my seventeenth year teaching two year olds at Bethlehem Angels Preschool. I’m originally from South Africa but have been living in the United States for more than thirty years now. When I’m not at preschool or doing things with my family, I love to read and work in the yard.

Shellie Tyree
Teacher, 4s/Pre-K
I am so excited to be part of Bethlehem Angels Preschool teaching 4’s and Pre-K children! I have been teaching preschool children for 16 years, and I especially love helping 4 and 5 year olds get ready for Kindergarten! I enjoy leading my children in lots of hands-on activities like cooking and doing science experiments. If you stop by my classroom you will often hear laughing as we sing silly songs and participate in movement activities. I also love to involve my students’ families in different at-home projects.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 19 years, and I have two wonderful children, Emily and Easton, who keep me very busy. I am a Girl Scout leader and teach children’s church on Wednesday nights. I love travelling with my family, and we especially love visiting Disney World!
Angela Pitcher
Teacher, 4s/Pre-K
This is my first year at Bethlehem Angels Preschool, but I’m very excited about getting back into the classroom. I graduated from UNCW with a K-6 teaching degree and later went back to get my Pre-K add-on certificate. Since then, I have been teaching preschool age children for 18 years both in public and church preschools. I have been married to my husband Bill for 17 years and we have 2 girls and a dog (they count, too). I’m looking forward to great school year!
